The Vista/Dunes course, designed by Devlin and Von Hagge is a just shy of 7,000 yards of Scottish links golf, complete with carefully placed mounding, lots of bunkers and undulating fairways and greens. The par 72 championship course will make you feel you’re a wee bit up in old Scotland.

Next door, you’ll find the 9-hold (3,065 yards, par 35) Lakes course, with generous fairways but tricky water features on six of the nine holes.

Put it all together and you have 27 holes of golf that offer something for the scratch golfer or duffers like me.

This golf course has so many top awards, it really has to be on your “must play” list if you’re visiting Baldwin County, south Alabama or northwest Florida.

Designed by U.S. Open Champion Jerry Pate, Kiva Dunes uses the interplay of land and water to create a remarkable golfing adventure. The signature hole, number 9, is 428 yards to a green surrounded by water and bunkers and it is something to behold. And even more fun to play.
