Le Tour de Foley Bicycle Race

Enjoy “The Ride of Your Life,” on October 24, 2009, when The Baldwin County Trailblazers and The Foley Lions Club present Le Tour de Foley bicycle race.

With courses of 62 and 25 miles, plus a 3-mile Fun Ride, there is something for every skill level and age. The Start/Finish Line is Foley Heritage Park and the courses wind through city streets and country lanes, providing riders with pleasant scenic vistas along the way.

The pre-race Registration and Dinner (with door prizes) will be October 23 at 6pm. Registration is $40 for the longer rides and just $5 for the 3-mile fun ride.

The Hotel Magnolia is located at the Start/Finish Line for Le Tour de Foley.

    I would like more information regarding Le Tour de Foley. I am a spinning instructor and like to include my students in as many outstide events as possible.

    Hey, I'm going to ride the 62 mile.I need to know if you will mail me a map.Also the address for the Fri. Oct.23,09 Dinner.And what does the T-Shirts look like in a( 2x).I called Fri.Person I talked to didn't know very much about this.I am riding with my friend and owner of Big Boy Bicycles,LLC in Pensacola,Fla.His name is Lenny.I just bought my 2009 Raleigh from him.I love it.I had a 1970"s Raleigh I just sold.They are such nice bikes.This will be my first ride like this.Miss G (westsidegrls)Pen.Fla.

    what is the 62 mile course like? flat? rolling hills?

      Sure wish I knew.I've been trying to get a map on line and by calling the # on the registration.No luck yet.Been trying for weeks.Would love to see map so we don't enter a blind ride.Is this a ride or race?Pen.Fla.

    What is so good to see is the 3 mile fun race! Since the basic purpose is to get more people out of their cars and onto their bikes, that sure will create an impression! Way to go. By the way, how did it go? how many participants?
