The Magnolia Court Restaurant Lunch Menu is designed to accommodate diners with a schedule to keep, as well as those interested in a more leisurely approach to their meal. Among the offerings on the initial lunch menu, which will change seasonally:

  • An assortment of entree salads that are filling yet light, including the “Magnolia Salad,” with Boston lettuce, hearts of palm, Panko crusted goat cheese, oven-roasted Roma tomatoes and your choice of dressing, several of which are house-made.
  • Sandwiches to suit every taste, from a Half-pound Burger to Barbeque Pork to Fresh Fish. Plus a Turkey Rueben with slow-roasted turkey and fresh cabbage; a Tuna BLT, with a thick, fried green tomato slice on sourdough; and a Shrimp Boil Sandwich featuring fresh Gulf shrimp on a French bread crouton and topped with a three-cheese Mornay sauce.
  • A range of small plates, including Grilled Oysters; Shrimp and Grits; and Crab Fritters, among other mouth-watering delights.

The Dinner Menu at Magnolia Court Cafe offers many tempting possibilities, starting with a variety of small plates. They include: French Onion Soup; a Cheese Tart with ricotta, marscapone and goat cheeses blended in a savory custard, baked to order in a flaky pie crust; and Tangy Shrimp, broiled in a tangy marinade with fresh garlic and lemon juice and served with French bread for dipping.

You can choose from several entrees, including a Fresh Fish Catch; Shrimp au Gratin; Crab Encrusted Fresh Grouper; and a variety of chicken, pork and steak dinners. Or, simply opt for a sandwich or burger.

I recently had lunch with my family at the Magnolia Court restaurant–It was fabulous!! For an appetizer, we shared the crab fritters and the oysters. Both were amazing. For lunch, I had the tuna blt, which was very good. And for dessert, I had the key lime pie, which was the perfect end to a delectable meal. I can’t wait to come back for dinner! :-)

We visited the Magnolia Court restaurant on Father’s Day. How wonderful. I was reminded of one of Emeril’s resturants in New Orleans. The food was fresh and perfectly prepared. The prices were reasonable. And the atmosphere was definately Southern! Thank you for an enjoyable meal and we will visit again soon! By the way, all the members of our party sampled each other’s dishes – My favorite was the Shrimp and Grits!

Food is indeed FABULOUS, but a serious suggestion – you need twinkling lights on the porch or hanging bright flower baskets – BECAUSE : the restaurant is VERY diffulcult to find and does NOT look open even when you do find it. Many friends of mine relpy “What new restaurant? Open where in Foley?” Also, the open kitchen cafe style dining is interesting BUT one annoying female voice rises high above the natural din of the eatery and takes ones attention away from the atmosphere and FANTASTIC food. I have visited twice, early dinner and for lunch, on both occasions the service we received was EXCELLENT, both times our server was more than typically competant, answering easily any questions we had regarding menu choices. The best of luck to you, we will return for sure!

The two of us had dinner there last night for a birthday, and I had called and requested to sit at the bar so we could watch the goings-on in the kitchen. We had a wonderful time and Chef Greg and the others spoke and visited with us when they weren't too busy. We'll certainly be back and request the same seats as we enjoy cooking and watching all the prep and activity in the kitchen and at the stove so please save our seats! The food was just delicious and the service wonderful. Everything on the menu sounded so good but we both had to have the special with the softchell crab over the mahi and the delicious sauce tasting like a blending of remoulade and hollandaise flavors. We were stuffed but the key lime pie always calls to us wherever we go and this one was one of the best, especially the crust with the almonds, YUM! Thank you all for a fun night and delicious food. Good luck with everything and can't wait to get back for more.

Jeri should know! I think eating is her hobby, glad to see you were able to make her happy, for not much else can live up to her expectations. I hope for your sake she never returns.

We had Thanksgiving Dinner at the Magnolia and it was WONDERFUL!! I have told everyone that there was not one single thing I tasted that wasn’t absolutely delicious. My particular favorites were the Oyster Dressing and the Salmon. And the southern style cornbread dressing was the best I have ever tasted (and being from the south, I have eaten A LOT of southern dressing over the years!). Service was impeccable – our server, Melissa was sweet and very attentive. The only criticism I will make is that while at the buffet line, another patron asked a staff person attending the buffet, to identify a certain dish (it was the Oyster Dressing), the response given was, “I have no idea”. I think it is a given that when serving a buffet, patrons are surely going to ask certain questions about the dishes. I would suggest that servers attending the buffet at least know the name of the dishes being served. Other than that one little observation, I have only accolades and high compliments for our experience at the Magnolia on Thanksgiving Day! We cannot wait to come back and have dinner in your beautiful dining room. How fortunate we are in Foley to have such an elegant and top notch restaurant! Not to mention the high caliber and gifted culinary skills of Chef Greg Buschmohle! Kudos to all of you!
